Who We Are
Nesting Space Therapy exists to provide high-quality, trauma-informed care to people who are ready to grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves. We believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to take risks, and challenged enough to create real change.
Our mission is to offer therapy that’s clinically sound, deeply human, and built on trust. Whether you’re navigating trauma, stress, or just trying to make sense of life—we’re here to help you do the work and feel supported every step of the way.
What We Believe
At Nesting Space Therapy, therapy is seen as both a landing place and a launching point—a space where clients can feel held, understood, and empowered to grow.
The team believes therapy should be rooted in safety, honesty, and real connection. Whether clients are navigating trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or life transitions, they deserve to be met with empathy, clinical expertise, and care that respects the full complexity of their experiences.
Nesting Space operates on the belief that good therapy doesn’t rely on quick fixes or surface-level strategies. Instead, the practice is grounded in deep clinical work, thoughtful collaboration, and a genuine belief in each client’s capacity for growth and change.
Above all, Nesting Space Therapy believes in showing up—fully, authentically, and with the kind of support that makes healing possible.

Meet the Founders
Nesting Space Therapy is a Twin Cities-based group practice founded by Kamber Peerboom, MBA, MSW, LICSW, and Tracy Blad, MA, LMFT-S—two seasoned clinicians with decades of experience in the mental health field. Together, they bring a wide range of clinical expertise and a shared commitment to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care for adults, couples, and families.
Tracy has extensive training and experience in trauma and play therapy, working with children, families, and complex relational systems. Kamber specializes in trauma, personality disorders, and the treatment of complex emotional and interpersonal challenges in adults. Both have worked across a variety of clinical settings including private practice, community mental health, and consulting.
In addition to their clinical work, Kamber and Tracy are widely known for their leadership in training and mentoring the next generation of therapists. Their combined experience through their consulting firm, T&K Consulting, has shaped the development of numerous therapy practices and helped clinicians grow into confident, well-rounded professionals.
Nesting Space Therapy was created as a reflection of their values: grounded, compassionate care delivered by a team of clinicians who are both clinically sharp and deeply human.
