Grow your clinical skills in a trauma-informed, authentic environment—with experienced supervisors who are invested in your development (and yes, this is a PAID opportunity)!

At Nesting Space Therapy, our practicum and internship experiences are rooted in clinical integrity, trauma-informed care, and authenticity. We’re here to help emerging therapists grow into confident, ethical clinicians—without losing sight of who they are in the process.

Our program is led by Kamber Peerboom, MBA, MSW, LICSW, and Tracy Blad, MA, LMFT-S —two experienced supervisors with distinct clinical specializations and a shared commitment to nurturing well-rounded, self-aware therapists. Kamber has provided social work supervision for over five years, with deep expertise in trauma and personality disorders. Tracy is a nationally credentialed LMFT supervisor with over a decade of experience, specializing in play therapy, trauma work, and family systems.

We offer a supervision experience that’s collaborative, honest, and grounded in real clinical work. Interns at Nesting Space Therapy gain exposure to a wide range of presenting concerns, receive weekly individual and group supervision, and are supported in developing their own clinical voice. Our approach prioritizes client care, ethical decision-making, and building strong therapeutic relationships.

While our foundation is clinical, we also help interns understand how therapy fits into the broader context of private practice—because we believe great clinicians benefit from knowing how the system works.

If you’re looking for a practicum site that values who you are as much as the work you do, Nesting Space Therapy might be the right place to grow.

Meet the Founders

Nesting Space Therapy is a Twin Cities-based group practice founded by Kamber Peerboom, MBA, MSW, LICSW, and Tracy Blad, MA, LMFT-S—two seasoned clinicians with decades of experience in the mental health field. Together, they bring a wide range of clinical expertise and a shared commitment to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care for adults, couples, and families.

Tracy has extensive training and experience in trauma and play therapy, working with children, families, and complex relational systems. Kamber specializes in trauma, personality disorders, and the treatment of complex emotional and interpersonal challenges in adults. Both have worked across a variety of clinical settings including private practice, community mental health, and consulting.

In addition to their clinical work, Kamber and Tracy are widely known for their leadership in training and mentoring the next generation of therapists. Their combined experience through their consulting firm, T&K Consulting, has shaped the development of numerous therapy practices and helped clinicians grow into confident, well-rounded professionals.

Nesting Space Therapy was created as a reflection of their values: grounded, compassionate care delivered by a team of clinicians who are both clinically sharp and deeply human.
